Descriptive Roll of
Captain Joseph T. Farris's Company F

Company F of the Twenty-first Infantry Missouri Vols., enrolled under the call of the President for Volunteers, to enter the service of the United States, which said Company was mustered into service at Canton, Lewis County State of Missouri, the First day of February 1862 for the period of three years or during the war.

Captain Joseph T. Farris - March 27, 1862: Resigned January 16, 1863.
Captain Alex F. Tracy – February 23, 1863: Resigned August 29, 1865.
Captain Isaac C. Schram – September 30 1865.
1st Lt. Alex F. Tracy - March 27, 1862: Promoted Captain January 17, 1863.
1st Lt. F.A. Whittemore – Feb. 23, 1863: Mustered out Feb. 11, 1865 – Exp term of service.
1st Lt. Richard D. Andrews – September 30, 1865.
2nd Lt. F.A. Whittemore – March 27, 1862: Promoted 1st Lt. January 17, 1863.
2nd Lt. Peter H. Orr – February 23, 1863: Killed on picket duty Oct. 27, 1863.
2nd Lt. Isaac C. Schram – April 22, 1864: Promoted Captain.
2nd Lt. David Danforth - September 30, 1865.
