Descriptive Roll of
Captain Charles W. Tracey/John H. Cox's Company H

Company H of the Twenty-first Infantry Missouri Vols., enrolled under the call of the President for Volunteers, to enter the service of the United States, which said Company was mustered into service at Canton, Lewis County State of Missouri, the First day of February 1862 for the period of three years or during the war.

Captain Charles W. Tracy - May 27, 1862.
Captain James Smith - July 6, 1865.
1st Lt. Peter Washburn - March 27, 1862: Resigned August 31, 1862.
1st Lt. Logan Tomkins - November 19, 1862: Resigned December 20, 1864.
1st Lt. G.K. Jones - July 6, 1865.
2d Lt. W. P. Rickey - March 27, 1862: Resigned April 22, 1862.
2d Lt. James Smith - May 27, 1862: Promoted 1st Lieutenant.
2d Lt. G.K. Jones - February 24, 1865: Promoted 1st Lieutenant.
2d Lt. Geo. Coffman - September 30, 1865.
