William D Driscoll
Co. I, 21st Regiment, Missouri Volunteer Infantry

William D. Driscoll William D. Driscoll was born in Peterborough, Ontario in 1825 and moved to Missouri in 1854. He was a member of the Missouri Home Guard, Co E of the 2nd Provisional Regiment from 1860 until he was wounded in 1862. He recovered and enlisted in the 21st Missouri Vol. Inf, Co I, on January 2, 1864, and fought with that regiment until again wounded in the Battle of Ft. Blakeley, Alabama on 4/9/1865. He was pensioned after the war, lived in Memphis, MO (Scotland Co.) and died 9/18/1902. He is buried in the Memphis, Scotland Co., MO Cemetery.
